Welcome to Calvary Baptist Church

If you are considering visiting Calvary, this page is designed to answer some of the practical questions you may have.

Calvary is a small, local Baptist church in Fulton, New York. We gather each Lord's Day to worship God, hear His Word preached, pray, sing, fellowship together, and encourage one another in the faith.

Christ is preached. God's Word is central. People are known and cared for.

Everyone is welcome to attend our services, and we make no assumption that every visitor shares our beliefs. At the same time, we are committed to faithfully teaching what we believe the Scriptures command and to making Christ and His Word central to the life of the church.

What We Believe

Calvary is a Baptist church committed to the authority and sufficiency of Scripture and rooted in historic Baptist theology. We affirm the 1689 Second London Baptist Confession, the New Hampshire Confession of Faith, and, as a GARBC church, the GARBC Articles of Faith. Our teaching reflects historic Reformed Baptist convictions concerning God's sovereignty in salvation, the doctrines of grace, believer's baptism, the local church, and the authority of Scripture.

You can read more about our beliefs on our What We Believe page.

Worship With Us

Our worship is centered on God and His Word rather than on entertainment or performance.

We sing together, pray together, read Scripture together, and gather around the preaching of God's Word. We believe the ordinary means God has given His church are sufficient to accomplish His purposes.

If you are looking for a church where Scripture is taken seriously, Christ is exalted, and the Christian life is lived together in the context of a local church, we invite you to visit Calvary.
