Meet our Pastor and Leadership
Daniel LaRocco — Pastor-Teacher
Our Pastor:
Daniel LaRocco serves as the pastor-teacher of Calvary Baptist Church, with a commitment to faithfully proclaiming and teaching God's Word and to pointing the church continually to the supremacy of Jesus Christ. His desire is to help believers know Christ more deeply, grow in spiritual maturity, and stand firmly on the truth of Scripture in an increasingly secular culture.
Daniel holds a Master of Divinity in Biblical Studies from Regent University School of Divinity (2018) and a Master of Arts in Apologetics (2020). He is especially passionate about helping Christians develop a biblical worldview and confidently live out their faith in the home, the church, and the wider community.
Daniel accepted the call to Calvary Baptist Church in June 2021. Before coming to Calvary, he served as Youth Director at Ebenezer Baptist Church, where he ministered to students and families through biblical teaching, discipleship, and pastoral care. Prior to entering vocational ministry, Daniel served eight years in the United States Navy. That experience continues to shape his approach to leadership, emphasizing faithfulness, discipline, humility, and servant-hearted care for others.
Daniel's ministry is grounded in the authority and sufficiency of Scripture and the centrality of the local church. He believes that healthy churches are built through the faithful preaching of God's Word, prayer, worship, discipleship, and loving fellowship among God's people. His desire is to see believers strengthened through the ordinary means of grace, equipped to follow Christ faithfully, and encouraged to live out the gospel in their homes, workplaces, and communities.
He also has a particular heart for pastoral counseling and for cultivating a church culture marked by both truth and grace. He desires to shepherd people toward a deeper knowledge of Christ and a life of practical obedience to God's Word.
Daniel and his wife, Kimberly, have been married since 2011 and are grateful to call Fulton home. They have three children and are active foster parents, with a deep passion for caring for vulnerable children and supporting families in need. Together, they seek to serve their community and reflect the love of Christ through both word and deed.
