Missions

The Gospel Is for All Nations

Jesus Christ has commanded His church to make disciples of all nations. At Calvary Baptist Church, we believe the Great Commission is not merely the responsibility of a select few missionaries—it is the calling of every believer.

We seek to participate in Christ's mission through prayer, financial support, personal involvement, and gospel ministry both locally and around the world. We desire to be faithful stewards of the resources God has entrusted to us and to partner with those who are proclaiming Christ and making disciples.

Global Missions

Calvary Baptist Church supports missionaries and gospel workers serving in various parts of the world. We seek to support these ministries not only financially, but also through prayer and ongoing partnership as they proclaim the gospel, establish and strengthen churches, and make disciples.

For the safety and security of some of our missionary partners, we do not publicly list their names or specific locations. We encourage members and regular attenders to contact the church for more information about how they can pray for and support these ministries.

We are grateful for the missionaries and gospel workers whom God has allowed us to partner with, and we encourage our congregation to pray regularly for their ministries, families, and communities.

Local Missions

We believe our mission field begins at our doorstep. As a local church, Calvary seeks opportunities to proclaim Christ and serve our neighbors throughout Fulton and the surrounding communities.

Our local outreach includes supporting and partnering with organizations that serve individuals, children, and families in need. We seek to demonstrate the love of Christ through practical service while looking for opportunities to point people to the hope of the gospel.

Serving Our Community

Our local outreach and ministry partnerships include:

- Supporting local ministries and nonprofit organizations

- Serving children and families in our community

- Supporting foster care and vulnerable children

- Providing practical help to those in need

- Community outreach and evangelism

- Opportunities for members of Calvary to serve personally

How We Participate

We Pray

Prayer is one of the most important ways we participate in missions. We regularly pray for missionaries, gospel ministries, unreached peoples, and opportunities to proclaim Christ in our own community.

We Give

Through the faithful giving of our congregation, Calvary provides financial support to missionaries and gospel ministries. We desire to use the resources God has entrusted to us to advance the gospel both at home and around the world.

We Go

Missions is not simply something we support from a distance. We seek opportunities for members of Calvary to participate personally in local outreach, service, evangelism, and missions opportunities.

We Send

We desire to encourage and equip those whom God calls to vocational missionary service and to support them as they take the gospel to other communities and nations.

Every Christian Is Sent

Missions is not simply a program of Calvary Baptist Church. It is part of the calling Christ has given to His church.

Wherever God has placed us—in Fulton, in our workplaces, in our neighborhoods, among our families, or around the world—we are called to live as ambassadors for Christ and to make disciples.

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations..." — Matthew 28:19

At Calvary Baptist Church, we want to faithfully participate in that mission until Christ returns.
